This new Craftsman house makes the most of a small lot, selected for its location across from the San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo, California. The house is 2,566 square feet with four bedrooms and 2.5 baths but with a front entry patio and a upstairs deck, the house is large without being imposing. This dense use of the site required careful site coordination and planning. Located within a flood zone, this house required special details throughout. Even with luxuries as walnut butcherblock countertops, Connecticut blue stone entry, and a Carrera marble bath, the project was held to a strict budget and a tight schedule. This project was completed in May 2008.
